God why have You been so good to me today! I heard the Sunday morning speaker at the Area 64 Convention at Paris Landing make that statement several times. That's the way this quarter has been for me. It all began Saturday afternoon Sept. 31st in Knoxville the week after the Oak Ridge Assembly. Groups at Park Forty invited Tom N, Rusty R and I to do a 4 to 6 pm workshop and cook out. I had the privilege of sharing at the 8 pm meeting my experience strength and hope. Sam L, presented Archives with the First Edition First Printing 12 and 12, Living Sober, Came to Believe, 3rd Printing Sermon on the Mount hard back, a Tennessee License Plate his Dad carried on his car for several years that reads EZDUZIT. License tag will travel. It was the largest workshop the Archives Committee had this year.

Saturday August 14th District 12 had their Annual Picnic at Floating Mill State Park on Center Hill Lake in Smithville Tennessee. Tom N did his Washingtonian/ Oxford Movement early AA history. We also plugged the 9th NAW. The event was real well attended. There were 8 districts represented.

Thursday August 26th I shared at the East Chattanooga Group on Glean A, and Eddie H, 36th Anniversary. Lou S, had 32 years and the lifeblood, a young lady named Kathy celebrated her 1st anniversary. The Archives were shown during the event.

September 11th at 10 am the Host Committee for the Ninth NAW had the walk thru at the Double Tree Hotel. Friday the 17th, Tom N, and I attended Area 64 State Convention, At Paris Landing. The Archives were shown and well accepted.

The Magnificent Reality (Together We Can Make It Happen). September 23rd through the 26th. Area 64 hosted the 9th NAW. The Magnificent Reality (Together WE MADE it happen). We had workshops on restoration and preservation. Led by Bob W, Little Rock. With his crew, Parry from Little Rock, Terry from Ft. Smith Arkansas, John from Rochester, NY and David from Seattle Washington. Kathy S, from Area 64 did a workshop on cataloging. Don F, from Fla. and Richard L, Murfreesboro did a workshop on copy rite laws. Past Delegate Betty B, did Area 64s history, Ron R, from Pulaski did TCYPAA History. Kurt from Nashville did Group History Workshop, Standing Delegate Melton Casey did Traditions Workshop. We had a 130 registered people including Area 2 (Alaska), AA Archivist and ALANON Archivist. They happen to be Sisters and couldn't be more complimentary. Local people were extended scholarships. Without Nashville and Murfreesboro people helping us in all areas this would not have been a success. 78 people participated in the Banquet. We also had a long timers panel Friday night and Business meeting Sunday morning in closing. As Chairman of the Event, I cannot thank the Host Committee enough for the labor of love that you offered me this past year. I will not attempt to name people in the report for fear of missing someone as I did at the Banquet Saturday night. You know who you are you know what you did and God Why Have You Been So Good To Me Today.
Anyone interested, the Host Committee will have the wrap up of the event Saturday October 16th at 11 am at the Maney House in Murfreesboro.

This has been the highlight of my service in the program and fellowship that you people have so freely given me.
Yours in Love and Service
Charles M.
