Just shortly before Charlie's death he returned the Traveling Archives to Area 64 Archives for inventory. Everything was laid out and separated . There were a few items that were not good for public display and were removed. E.g. Photos materials marked confidential, irreplaceable items. They have been placed for future inventory and their permanent home @ Archives. Some damage is to be expected in Traveling Archives. Each time you transport and setup, takedown and return home there is room for accidents. If it can happen it will happen. Just the change in humidity and temperature has a great effect on these precious memories. So we will replace certain things with copies. Unless there is multiple copies that are replaceable. We understand that it just isn't the same having copies but remember our mission is to not do any damage to our archives that cannot be undone.
