First Quarterly Assembly 2007
Archive's Chair Report  Joe C.

First of all, would hope that everyone had a Wonderful "Merry Christmas" and a very "Happy New Year". Things have been kind of slow for me these winter months. I attended the State Archives Workshop in Crossville Tenn. on November 4th. 2006 at the 4th. Dimension Club. Which was very informative, Tom N. presented his talk on the Washingtonian Group and the Oxford Group, along with his personal collection of A.A. Archives. Tom does such a great job on these movements in A.A. History. If you ever have the opportunity to go and hear Tom please take advantage these. Our own Area 64 Archivist was also there and he did re-ignite the fire of A.A. in all of us, with his vast knowledge and experience of A.A. history. Charles M. was there also and shared the traveling Archives with us. He also shared his knowledge of A.A. History.
Of course you can't have a great fellowship like this with out great food, this was no exception. The Chili was great!.
Well on a personal note, yes had to be taking to the Hospital again on December 3rd. Was there for the next two weeks. Same problem just had another attack, different Medicine and so on.
Our Calendar sales are going slow right now they should pick up at the January Assembly. Would like to see all our members be sure and get enough of to take back to all their groups plus some to sell. This project sure does help us in keeping our self's fully self supporting.
I talked to Charles M. Monday night (January the eighth) and he was in the Hospital in Murfreesboro. He seems to have a very bad case of the flu and other health problems. Be sure and remember him in your prayers.
Well, I hope to see everyone in Chattanooga on January 19th.-21st. Try and bring one of your friends or a sponsee with you to the meetings. That's how I got started in the Archives group, my sponsor brought me.
Thanks for all your support in the past few months.

In Loving Service:
